Tamara Bjažić Klarin, Ph.D., M.Arch., is a senior research associate at the Institute of Art History in Zagreb. Her field of expertise covers 20th-century urban planning and architectural history, focusing on the processes of modernization, mediation of concepts and public engagement of architects. She authored the book Ernest Weissman: Socially Responsible Architecture, 1926–1939 (2015). Since 1998, she has been a scriptwriter of several broadcast and documentary programs of the Croatian National Television on contemporary Croatian architecture, including Trikultura: Architecture and Design and Suvremenici (‘Contemporaries’). She is vice-president of the Croatian Association of Architects (UHA).
